Thank You for Your Support!
Since 1959, Fairfield Volunteer Rescue Squad has been responding to hundreds of EMS calls annually in Rockbridge County covering a primary ‘first due’ area of over 150 square miles from Walkers Creek to the Blue Ridge Parkway, including a ten mile stretch of I-81. FVRS is a non-profit organization that is staffed 100% by volunteers. With the average gallon of diesel fuel at $4.00/gallon combined with a continuous increase in call volume, the cost of equipment and supplies, your support helps us continue to save lives in Rockbridge County, and surrounding areas.
Our members work together as a team for the sole purpose of saving lives and giving aid and assistance to those in need. Your support is crucial to our organization and we would like to express our appreciation for all you have done in our behalf. We are your rescue squad. You have supported our agency for over 50 years and today, as always, we strive to do our best to serve this community. We truly appreciate the support we have received over the years and respect the amount of trust placed in us to provide care to you and your families in your greatest time of need. We are proud of our community and hope to always be an agency which you can be proud of as well.
